On the afternoon of June 9, Hou Yi, vice president of Alibaba Group, founder of Hema, and president of Digital Agriculture Division, visited JJR headquarters, and the two sides had in-depth exchanges on future development and cooperation.
Chairperson Wen Biaotang focused on how to empower the planting base through the JJR big data cloud platform, so that the base becomes a growth record, transaction record, valuable data farm, based on this information, to help growers effectively solve agricultural sales, capital chain and other pain points, and ultimately promote the process of China’s order agriculture and precision agriculture, and create a new situation of agricultural technology innovation and industrial chain innovation.
The two sides also held a discussion on the future direction of cooperation. The chairperson of Wen Biaotang said that JJR, as a strategic investment enterprise of Fanchuang Capital (a subsidiary of Ant Financial), has deeply cultivated precision, intelligence and digital solutions and integrated services at the planting end. It can use its own service system as the back end of the market to provide high-quality, safe and fresh agricultural products for Hema Fresh and Ali platforms. It is hoped to establish closer strategic cooperation with Ali Hema and digital agriculture, so that farmers can not only plant well but also sell well, and jointly promote the development of China’s agricultural industry. President Hou Yi praised JJR intelligent water and fertilizer integrated solution and smart cloud platform, saying that in the future, the two sides can further strengthen production and sales linkage and cooperate in more planting bases.
