Continuous innovation! JJR won the provincial science and technology progress award for the third time

    In September 2020, in order to fully and thoroughly implement the spirit of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and the innovation-driven development strategy, and strive to promote scientific and technological progress and innovation, the Sichuan Provincial People’s Government launched the selection of the Science and Technology Progress Award across the province. In the selection, the “Research and Application of Key Technologies for Precision, Low Consumption and High Efficiency Irrigation in Hillside Areas” project led by Sichuan University and mainly participated by JJR won the second prize of Sichuan Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award.

  The hilly area accounts for about 70% of the total land area of our country, and has unique soil and climate resources. It has always been the main producing area of high-quality fruits and vegetables in our country. But the hilly areas of our country have also been facing seasonal droughts, lack of power facilities, and serious problems of soil erosion, which affect the economic development and ecological environment security of the hilly areas. JJR precision management intelligent irrigation technology, while achieving efficient and uniform irrigation in mountainous areas, its environmentally friendly and low-energy hardware equipment has achieved precise and low consumption and efficient irrigation.

    This is a new breakthrough in science and technology in the field of science and technology by JJR, and it is also the result of JJR active exploration and innovation. This award is the third provincial science and technology progress second prize that JJR has won in the past 12 years. It is also the first time that JJR has won the “second prize of science and technology progress in Sichuan Province”.
