The first intelligent water and fertilizer irrigation system in Guangxi Liuzhou livestock farm has been built and put into use.

Recently, the first set of intelligent water and fertilizer irrigation system in the high-standard Crispy Sweet Kumquat Science and Technology Demonstration Area of the “Orange Garden Pastoral Song” – Liuzhou Modern Characteristic Agriculture and Animal Husbandry Core Demonstration Area of Liuzhou Livestock Farm, which JJR cooperated with, has been officially put into use after installation and commissioning.

This system can collect information on the growth of fruit trees at various stages, work with agricultural big data to establish corresponding fruit tree growth models, compare the growth requirements at each stage, and design nutrition for the entire growth period to guide the standardized production of fruit trees throughout their growth period. In the future, it will further improve the standardization and intensification levels of fruit production and operation, inject new momentum into the development of the fruit industry in the demonstration area, and play a demonstrative and leading role in promoting quality improvement and efficiency enhancement in fruit production.

In recent years, Liuzhou Livestock Farm has adhered to the working concept of “ensuring people’s livelihood, laying a solid foundation, and focusing on industries”, and has steadily promoted the construction of the “Guangxi Orange Garden Pastoral Song Modern Agricultural Industrial Park”. Among them, the orange garden is to build a high-standard citrus science and technology demonstration garden. At present, in the first phase, more than 230 mu of high-quality Crispy Sweet Kumquat has been planted, with a total of more than 22,000 plants. The demonstration park adopts Israeli agricultural technologies and invests in building an intelligent water and fertilizer integrated irrigation system. The infrastructure construction projects include reservoirs, pump houses, intelligent irrigation systems, road hardening, drainage facilities and so on. The acceptance and delivery for use of this project have enabled the management of the orange garden demonstration park to embark on the path of data informatization and improved the standardized production technology.
