On January 29, 2021, a delegation from the Israeli Consulate General in Guangzhou, including Consul General Peleg Lewi and Economic Affairs Director Gu Yuxuan, visited our company for inspection and examination. The chairman of Jiejia Run Technology Group, Wen Bidang, received the consul general and his team. First, the delegation toured the factory of Netafim (China) Agricultural Technology Co., Ltd., the first Sino-Israeli joint venture in Nanning High-tech Zone. Then they went to the demonstration center of Nanning Zhongguancun Innovation Demonstration Base to learn about advanced technologies and products from some of Nanning’s high-tech enterprises. Finally, they visited JJR Technology Group to watch a presentation on the functions of the smart agriculture cloud platform and held discussions and talks in the company meeting room.
Chairman of Jiarun Technology Group, Wen Bid tang, expressed a warm welcome to the visiting Consul General of Israel in Guangzhou. He stated that Israel is a leading country in global agriculture, and the company places great importance on agricultural cooperation with Israel. In 2018, JJR Technology Group and Netafim Irrigation Co., Ltd. established a joint venture in Nanning and invested in the construction of a joint venture factory. They introduced two of the world’s most advanced drip irrigation line production lines from Israel, producing efficient water-saving irrigation products. This is a successful example of cooperation between local enterprises in Guangxi and Israeli companies. The company is willing to fully utilize its years of experience in the Chinese market, seize the development opportunities of modern agriculture, contribute to the research and cooperation between China and Israel in the field of agricultural science and technology, and lay a good foundation for further development of Sino-Israeli agricultural science and technology industrial parks. China has a broad market prospect, and Guangxi has unique climatic advantages and agricultural production conditions. We hope to attract more advanced Israeli agricultural science and technology enterprises to come to Guangxi for scientific research exchanges and investment cooperation.
Consul General Peleg Lewi welcomed and expressed gratitude for our active participation in the friendly exchanges and cooperation between the two countries. He said that before his visit, he had already gained preliminary knowledge about JJR Company from the previous consul. He was deeply interested in JJR explorations and achievements in smart agriculture and had always hoped for more in-depth communication. Through this visit, he gained a more comprehensive understanding of JJR Company and its smart agriculture cloud platform, believing that JJR digital agricultural management model is very practical for a wide range of users and has great prospects. During the tour of the joint venture factory, he was also impressed by the two fully automated imported production lines and showed concern for the construction of new production lines at the future joint venture factory. He considered the joint venture factory to be a good example of cooperation between Guangxi and Israeli enterprises and looked forward to the continuous deepening and broadening of cooperation between both sides. With this solid foundation, he was willing to actively promote agricultural cooperation and development between Israel and Nanning, continuing to advance a mutually beneficial and win-win new situation.
