Today, in order to promote the exchange of experience in market information for agriculture and rural areas throughout the district, the Guangxi Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs organized a 2021 district-wide agricultural and rural market information training and on-site work exchange meeting. Leaders from the Autonomous Region’s Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, department staff, representatives from municipal and county-level departments of agriculture and rural affairs, and representatives from the Information into Villages and Households project attended the training. The conference also invited five elites in the field of agriculture, including Hao Beihai, Liu Naxi, Li Bolun, Wen Biaotang, and Wang Xiaodong, to conduct training and exchanges.

Wen Biaotang, the chairman of JJR, as one of the five specially invited experts for the training, delivered a relevant speech at the training meeting. He stated that JJR attaches great importance to the collection and research of agricultural information data, and has gradually established and improved agricultural informatization projects as well as the quality traceability system. By utilizing the collected agricultural big data, more comprehensive solutions integrating agricultural production and sales have been created. JJR has always taken “Making Agriculture Easier and More Enjoyable” as its mission, deploying modern, informatized and technology-driven digital agriculture across the region, further tightening and solidifying responsibilities, strengthening the agricultural foundation, and helping farmers “manage water well, cultivate land well, and sell agricultural products well”.

This year marks the first year of promoting comprehensive rural revitalization. So far, JJR has served more than 14 million mu (about 2.3 million acres) of farmland across the country, with products covering various types of fruits, field crops, herbs, and other region-specific agricultural products. It has established industry-university-research bases with major universities and reached cooperation consensus with enterprises in agricultural materials, agricultural technology, and agronomy. JJR has the capability and confidence to assist in promoting the coordinated development of agricultural informatization in Guangxi, making up for the shortcomings in agriculture, rural areas, and farmers within the region, and contributing to the construction of a high-quality modern and distinctive agricultural powerhouse in the entire region.
