The sharing session will focus on discussions about Sino-Israeli agricultural innovation technology cooperation, agricultural innovation, and information technology, with the aim of further deepening exchanges and cooperation between China and Israel in the field of agricultural science and technology.

At the sharing session, Jetagreen Chairman Wen Biaotang introduced the company’s basic situation and pointed out that with the continuous maturity of smart irrigation control technology, the goal of making agriculture easier through technology has been basically achieved. Going forward, it is essential to persist in digitizing agricultural production, enhancing the application of agricultural remote sensing, IoT, and big data, improving technical service levels across the entire agricultural industry chain, ensuring not only crops are well grown but also well sold, making agriculture more enjoyable. Jetagreen will also take the establishment of a joint venture factory with Netafim and the construction of an Israeli agricultural industry demonstration park as exemplary cases to deepen and broaden technological exchanges and cooperation with Israel, conducting multi-level and multi-channel communications and consultations to promote the development of bilateral relations between China and Israel.

In the Q&A session, Chairman Wen Biaotang responded to a student’s question about how modern agriculture can be developed and applied in mountainous areas. He mentioned that pressure compensation and other mountain irrigation technologies are now well-established and implemented. However, when it comes to application, new irrigation methods from academic research often focus only on their effectiveness. Whether ordinary people can save costs and whether these solutions can truly be applied to the farms of many farm owners are issues that entrepreneurs need to continuously explore. Finally, as a former student of the College of Agriculture at Southwest University and a current agricultural worker, Chairman Wen Bidang said to the participating students: the current new era presents a rare and great opportunity for the agricultural industry, and he hopes everyone will continue to work hard to contribute to China’s modern agriculture.

The Agricultural Innovation Technology Exchange Sharing Meeting promotes the cooperative sharing of agricultural innovation technologies, transforming scientific and technological achievements and new agricultural scientific knowledge into real productive forces. It continuously advances the innovative development of agricultural industries and increases farmers’ income through technology empowerment. It also promotes the high-end, intelligent, and green development of traditional industries, drives the optimization and upgrading of the entire industry chain, accelerates the digitalization of industries and the industrialization of digital technologies, assists rural revitalization, and promotes the modernization of Chinese agriculture.
